So i estimate that i spent 15hrs give/take a couple hrs on this piece. Here are some pics to see the process. I get a general sketch and then finalize the sketch. I then take a photo of the sketch then upload them into illustrator to vector the shapes...
It can get a little tedious when using so many shapes. Check out how many layers are used just for this wing...
Here are all the pieces put together. I put no fill w/ a black outline on all the shapes to show u a skeleton view. There are so many shapes used to make up this figure and then the fun part begins...Coloring the image and bring it to life...
Heres the "final" product. Im finally able to play around w/ the idea of fusing my different skill sets together from my stylized animals, to the graffiti influenced colors and backgrounds to form a graphic art piece...Theres a lot of detail in this piece maybe later ill pst some detail shots along w/ the blue version i did as well...
