Split Complementary...

Went to LAMOCA w/ the lady for the Tim Burton exhibit. Went on a Tuesday and the show was still jam packed with fans. Got there and had an hour to kill so we grabbed some korean taco/burrito from  a food truck. Went tot he show and spent about a lil over an hour there. The show was awesome! There were several big open spaced rooms although seemed small at times with the crowds. Early to new sketches adorned the walls and figurines and costumes were displayed through ought the venue. There was a blacklight room and an early movie projected and played on the wall. There was not enough time to see everything and take the time to read the captions but for the most part I definitely enjoyed the exhibit. Outside of the exhibit by the entrance was a majestic deer bush sculpted by non other than Edward Scissor Hands himself...In the open area outside of the venue were 12 cast iron sculpted animal heads to represent the Chinese Zodiac...

Got to visit the Tar Pit. The water would bubble every now and then and it did smell like tar but overall kinda disappointing haha...

Directly in front of the new entrance to LACMA on Wilshire Boulevard is Chris Burden's Urban Light , an orderly, multi-tiered installation of 202 antique cast-iron lampposts from various cities in and around the Los Angeles area. The lamp posts are functional, turn on in the evening, and are powered by solar panels on the roof of the Grand Entrance.  Here is a side view...

Heres a video a fan made of all of Tim Burtons major movie projects...
