This sign was posted in my neighborhood...You'd be surprised in how fast tortoises can get away from u. Its b/c u think they are slow so u dont pay much attention to them. One day walking to work i saw a large tortoise roaming the streets in front of my work. I picked it up and it had a phone # written on its shell haha.

Really disappointed in this piece. I love the buff colors and the fact that this piece is pretty big, next time i think ill try to keep the fill more simple

I was bored @ work and found a pic of Alissa's dog Chibi. I always thought she looked like Falkor from Never Ending Story.Found a perfect pic of Chibi cropped it, then i found a pic of the sky i took a while back and set it as the background. I was going to take a pic of myself in a grey hoodie but found this pic of Roy i took a couple weeks ago and it was perfect. The lighting of chibi and Roy almost match perfectly w/out any minipulation

People throw bday parties a lot @ my work and we will occasionally get clowns/performers coming through. Today oscar the Grouch swung by and i took advantage of the op

Boomers Put Put Golf Tourny ( Alcohol involved ). We thought up the idea to have a mini golf tourny mid day on a sat afternoon @ Hooters. We plotted down some rules w/ marker and paper towel which included some of the following~~~ Get a Hole in One and u can tell anyone to take a shot. ~One Hole u have to shoot like a billairds table~Called bank shot everyone drinks etc. It ended up being a huge turnout for a spontaneous sat night. The Winner Justin, received a 6 chamber Nerf Gun. Good Times

Starting to think I am Socially Inept...

Got this dollar bill @ a Wendy's drive through. This is the second bill ive received from this project. It is stamped w/ a website http://www.wheresgeorge.com/ . You can input the serial # of the bill and see where it has been. This one is not to exciting as it is from Anaheim. I think ill send it to a cuzn in Iowa.

Been holding onto this bill for a while now. There is a flickr group dedicated to just art on dollar bills

A friend sent me a link to this website http://tubbypaws.blogspot.com/ . Its a site for cute art. The page displays art that i can only compare to maybe a Tokki Dokki/Junko Mizuno art. Friday...Went to La Jolla and went to the cave...After that i went to SDAFF and watched Crossing. It was a rather long and sad movie. Expected from the Koreans though. Then @ night a few of us went to Coronado to take pics of Hotel Del and downtown but it was too foggy to get any good pics. So we then went to the Mormon Temple in La Jolla. Sat morn I went to Panera in 4s and Hoda and Stewart randomly showed up. Then Cruz Melanie and Roy followed. Then Ralph saw the post on facebook and rolled thorugh as well. Mike and Hoda are such regulas there that they made friends w/ the staff and one of them made our whole group some coffee smoothie type a dealy. I dont like/drink coffee but i had two of them haha. Then that night i went downtown for White Ryans bachelor party.

I dont know what happened but i thought i had discarded the audio in all thi clips..apparently i did not somehow and that is why in some spots u can here the original audio..when i play the clip on my imovie its perfectly how i though it was..but on vimeo and itunes u can hear the slips..oh well..the more i do these the more i learn

Cruz hit me up to check out Black Mt. We hit up The Glider Point Trail. Its a trail that leads to a top of a peak where people launch themselves into the air via hangliders/paragliding. We got there and Cruz wanted to take pictures of the gnarly clouds. But he did not plan on hiking up the Mt. So we climbed up anyway.

Excited to try out this new technique w/ panoramics...I hope to create a lot of little planets for ur viewing pleasure..I have a few ideas id like to try..1st time trying it out..only 1 out of 5 panoramics was "successful"..in addition to using a previous pano from my SF trip

Looking through the Glass, It is But an Illusion...

SDAFF (San Diego Asian Film Festival) is HERE!!!! This will be my 5th year in a row attending...I absolutely love foreign films w/ all of their originality, indy films and Drama. Im tired of the consistent garbage that comes out of Hollywood. The pop culture cult following of overpaid actors and all the unnecessary sound effects like a screeching tire every time a car parks...I think that a big part of the reason that i like foreign films is due to the language barrier. I cant tell if it is bad acting b/c i dont speak the language and am just reading subtitles...Here are some movies that i will be seeing w/in the next week or so...Ill be reviewing my thoughts on them after viewing them...I am no movie critic and am easily pleased so dont expect much haha...And for all the skeptics that say that they dont like foreign films b/c they dont like to read the subtitles..i say they havnt seen the right movies..thats my nice way of saying that they are lazy and dont like to try new things as much as others...they are missing out on some amazing movies and its their loss...

Went To Hash House w/ the Jardins and Carpio...i forgot how pricey it is..but they have such HUGE servings...

Carpio got the hat shaped chicken pot pie

Jardin got the chicken, bacon, waffle towers of coarse, and alissa got a burger that she didnt even touch

I got the meat loaf w/ the "crowned w/ the special cream sauce" ?...it was good

And i got the kiwi watermelon lemonade

Homie went to Japan last year and asked if i would like anything...I responded w/ any crazy snack u can find...b/c i know they have tons of things there that are not only weird but delicious...he brought me back this wonderfully packaged Bust Pudding

I need to stop speeding up footage so that the videos are actually watchable...Heres the latest endeavor w/ video editing...the cockroach escaped and we fed the local spider some little moths that congregated around the light next to the spider web..clever spider spinning its web by a light...the spider wasnt actually in its web when we threw the moth in..it was up on a support beam and i guess it had part of its web attached to one of its legs to feel for vibrations b/c when the moth was stuck to the web and struggled, the spider nearly instantly read that and pounced...

I drove 80 miles today and came across this sign...apparently theres been a Tsunami warning in close coastal areas and this area is within the Tsunami zone..kinda scary

Saw this character on the fwy and then was lucky enough to see another one somewhere else to flick it.

Struggling to Find that right Balance Between my Heart and Mind...

Cut out a stencil for Alissa to use for a red carpet back drop...I think i did a pretty good job in freestyling the stencil into a one layer one from the top of my head...Apparently the backdrop didnt work out to well

I du yudu, du u yudu?..So i got this all in one screen printing machine Yudu...It has a set up for the screens, can burn the image into the emulsion and u can print the shirts all on the same machine..i failed in one of the 1st steps of putting the emulsion onto the screen...im gonna try it out again once i get some more emulsion sheets...

FilAm fest was one sunny, bbquey, filipinoyie, highschool kiddy, event...I got to catch up w/ some of the local artist homies, and got down on some painting...Originally i brought 2 4x8ft walls to use but they couldnt transport it down to the event so i had to paint on these smaller boxes...and i was on my knees on the concrete for a long time in the sun...i am actually sore from the aftermath...So i decided to just do the two letters P I w/ some patriotic color scheme w/ the bottoms submerged in the flood waters from the Typhoon along w/ some cloudscape in the background..it turned out all right considering im not used to "small scale"...

Crossroads, everyday...

Dropped of some stuff down south for the FilAm fest on Friday...Afterwards i went to Elmer's new pad in Little Italy...He made some really good sinigang and we watched Taken

That night ended up being dudes night out in little Italy haha...6 of us rolled to Elmers, lawrence rode his bike over and we had some Luigi's Pizza..The pineapple jalepeno pizza was sooo good...

There was an art show in the connected building of Luigi's called Pecof Gallery i think..The showcasing artist had some really good stuff...he had scenes that ranged from san diego to bali or something...most of the pieces were distorted like a fisheye and gave the effect that nature is bigger than life...and there was a chill dog there too...
