Know Ur ABC's

Got my Zine and Tshirt in the mail today! Got a Stinky Tofu shirt from http://www.hamburgerpanda.com/ it reminds me of the night markets in Taiwan. I also got a ABC #2 zine from http://theflopbox.com/ . Basically they have 26 artists designated to each letter of the alphabet.

Nike +

So I finally got a new pair of jogging shoes. Opted for some Nike + capable ones and got them on sale for $38. Ill post flicks of my old ones and new ones later. But the Nike + allows me to record my run w/ my ipod touch and calibrates the calories burnt and avg's my speed w/ the time and distance for each workout. You get to keep records online, track your progress, join teams, challenge friends, and do other stuff. You also get to make a mini character, and here is mine. I tripped out when they offered a Taiwan flag t shirt.

And here is the log of my 1st run. 7.65 miles in 50 min. Avg speed was 6.3 per mile. And i burnt 921 calories? I don't know how accurate these stats are but its pretty cool anyway. Ill have to calibrate it accurately later when i go to Miramar Lake

Del Mar Fair

Went to the Del Mar Fair over the weekend. Really happy w/ the amount of people who showed up. There was a lot of walking around/eating/loitering/walking around/eating and rides. Overall it was a fun year @ the fair. I'll be putting together a "movie" from the video footage from the day but don't think it will be done for a while. Until then enjoy these pics.

Chocolate Covered Bacon was a fail...couldn't taste the bacon and not a huge fan of plain chunks of chocolate.

Carne Asada Fries

Good Ol Carne Asada Fries. I've been eating carne asada fries on the regular now since 2000.They are a San Diego staple even wikipedia says so.  My favorite joint is Jalepenos. To me it doesn't get any better than Jalepenos. The meat is delicious and the presentation of the separated guacamole and sour cream in a flower shape is cool. The following pictures is not from Jalepenos but Los Primos. Their fries are a little crispier and are the second favorite place I like to order fries from

Flip UltraHD

Got a Flip Ultra HD from BestBuy. Its a little 720HD camcorder that has a usb hook up w/ internal software. 2hrs of memory and really easy limited buttons/functions. W/ the original lens its a bit shaky when you walk around w/ it and it doesn't shoot so well @ night. So i jerry rigged a $20 wide angle lens to it w/ painters tape. I also got a $20 fisheye. I got a step up ring and was thinking about gorilla glueing it to the camera so that i can just screw in the lens's but I don't want it to get all messy. The tape is sufficient enough for now. Ill use the wide angle for landscape and the fisheye for small spaces and mostly everything else. Overall im very happy w/ this purchase of the Flip and the lens's.

So ive been working diligently on this collabo production in the coarse of this past month. Today I went to go and finish it up finally. When I got there it was dissed! I had just missed them cause i could still smell the nasty Ironlak paint. This spot is supposed to be a chill spot that no one hits up. There are pieces dated back to 05. Ive been gone over b4 but this one really pissed me off cause it was such a dope collabo production. Ive never hit anyone b4 but if i ever come across this kid im going to kick him in the face and stomp on his painting hand. Here are the progress pics.

So ive been wanting to get a blank skim board for a while and paint/woodburn it. My homie Cruz got one and let me at it. The board was covered w/ a clear lamanent and when i would burn it i could taste it. I went to bed smelling like burnt wood. Wish i didnt outline it w/ a border but i think it came out pretty cool.

The homies went to Peru and Roy hooked it up w/ a Peruvian flute! He also got some Inca Cola and it is delicious!
